The following were among the many calls received recently by the Lamesa Police Department: Tuesday, June 16 7:25 a.m. – An individual in the 200 block of N. 16th St. notified police that three different vehicles in that area had been burglarized. 2:33 p.m. – A man in the 400 block of N.E. Elgin Ave. reported a residential burglary. 7:20 p.m. – The fire department and police were called to the 1000 block of N. 19th St. about a gas meter in the alley being hit in an apparent hit-and-run accident.
