A 57-year-old male from Lamesa was transferred to University Medical Center in Lubbock after being struck by a vehicle while riding a bicycle here on Thursday morning. Lieutenant Darrell Williams with the Lamesa Police Department said on Friday that the man’s injuries and status were unknown. The police lieutenant said he had contacted the hospital in Lubbock but had not received any information. Lt.
