Permits and election matters dominate the agenda for the upcoming monthly meeting of the Mesa Underground Water Conservation District’s board of directors. That meeting is set for 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Mesa UWCD office, 212 N. Ave. G in Lamesa. Board members will consider approving one water transport/operating permit and 19 permits for water wells. Hearings on those permit requests will be held at the outset of the meeting.
