The long-standing tradition of an excellent speaker lineup at the Plains Cotton Growers Annual Meeting continues this year with the announcement of Tamar Haspel as this year’s keynote speaker. Haspel is a food and science journalist who writes the James Beard award-winning Washington Post column “Unearthed.” The meeting begins at 9 a.m. Friday, April 5, at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center in conjunction with the Texas Cotton Ginners Association’s annual trade show and convention.
