Contestants interested in competing in the upcoming Chicken Fried Steak Festival Pageant have until the day of the event to sign up for the competition.Newborns to 18 years of age can compete to become this year’s Mr. and Miss Chicken Fry. They can also compete for the Mr. and Miss Photogenic title.The pageant begins at 11 a.m. on April 29 at the Forrest Park Community Center. Contestants can enter the pageant up until the show begins, said organizer Eleanor Cantu.The entry fee is $40.
