Everything is in place for the 21st annual co mmunity-wide Back-to-School Giveaway on Saturday at the First United Methodist Church in Lamesa. The event starts at 8 a.m. and will cotinue until noon. A breakfast for volunteers will be held from 7 a.m. until 7:30 a.m., according to Jo Roy, one of the organizers. Up to 500 students will receive a bag of school supplies and a set of new clothing, as well as some gently used clothing and a bag of hygiene supplies.
