Each year, the National Weather Service (NWS) in Midland conducts Skywarn severe weather spotter training courses across portions of west Texas and southeast New Mexico. This year’s training program in Lamesa will be on Wednesday, March 11, from 6:30 to 8:30 at the Forrest Park Community Center, 900 S.
