No new cases of the COVID-19 virus have been reported among Dawson County residents since late last week, a spokesperson for the South Plains Public Health District reported Wednesday morning.
That keeps the total number of confirmed cases here at 45 since the first case was diagnosed in late March.
In addition to the good news of no new cases in several days, the South Plains Health District reported that the number of active cases in Dawson County is now down to only two.
Two individuals who had been quarantined were cleared on Tuesday.
