Nine individuals were arrested here this past Friday in a joint effort by the Dawson County Sheriff’s office in cooperation with state and federal law enforcement agencies.
The target of the coordinated effort was the apprehension of parole violators and others who were wanted on either state or federal felony warrants, Dawson County Sheriff Matt Hogg said.
Also involved in the sweep were officers with the U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, Drug Enforcement Agency, and Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division.
