TAHOKA – The Culinary Arts program at Tahoka High School is taking on a new look with the help of a local grant gifted by Workforce Solutions South Plains.
“Workforce Solutions South Plains is committed to helping students find career opportunities and assisting programs to ensure quality workforce programs and services. After applying for the grant under the direction of Tahoka ISD Superintendent Dick Van Hoose, the Culinary Arts program was awarded approximately $8,750 to purchase equipment for the kitchen, including a double-door commercial refrigerator, commercial freezer, stainless steel work tables, commercial faucets, and a stackable washer and dryer for uniforms,” ...
