Medical Arts Hospital EMS recently put into service a “new” ambulance that was funded entirely by grant money from two entities. Dawson County Hospital District was awarded a $75,000 Capital Improvement Grant through the State Office of Rural Health and the William M. Weaver Foundation agreed to fund the difference – just under $50,000 – to completely cover the total cost for the ambulance.
