SEMINOLE – On Monday morning, the Gaines County Museum took delivery of one of the most substantial and historical donations in its history. The structure is a one-room #20 Loveland community schoolhouse that was once part of a 29-school network of small schools in Gaines County, predating the consolidation of the district during the 1930s. Back in April, Leslie Smith, son of former 106th District Attorney Ricky Smith, appeared with Museum Director Sally Davis in Commissioner’s Court to offer the donation to the County.
