The Lamesa Movieland membership campaign for 2019 is underway. Those interested in supporting the theatre may join Friends of Movieland as a member of the organization. The 2019 membership drive funds will be used to improve the front of the building. The theatre’s board of directors said they are concerned with the safety and attractiveness of the building. The directors plan to install handicapped parking and a lighted awning to make the theatre’s entryway more accessible and navigable.
