It was reminiscent of a Hollywood premier. There were vehicles lined up, the lights of the marquees, patrons waiting for the films to roll and a series of taped crosses on the floor – usually telling an actor where to stand, but this time designating for social distancing.
The scene Monday night at the local non-profit Movieland theater was the Friends of Movieland’s 20th annual membership drive.
