“We’re still shellshocked,” Mike Roy says when discussing the impact COVID-19 has had on Lamesa’s non-profit Movieland Theater over the past 15 months.
But Roy, manager of the local movie theater, is happy to report the situation here and across the entire movie industry is rapidly improving.
“We’re going to be OK,” Roy said Thursday afternoon with a sense of both relief and excitement.
“Six months ago, I don’t know if I could have told you that. It was touch-and go there for awhile.”
