The next time local health care facilities administer COVID-19 vaccinations they will be giving it to a new group of recipients beginning Monday.
State health officials announced people age 50 and older are the next in line to qualify for the vaccine.
They made the announcement this past Wednesday, the same day that Texas Governor Greg Abbott lifting of state-wide mandate requiring facial coverings in public went into effect. The mandate had been in place since last year when coronavirus first arrived in Texas.
