Come out in your best Halloween outfit for a 5K run around Forrest Park.The 5K costume run/walk event, called the ‘Monster Dash 5K,’ kicks off at 6 p.m., Sunday. Participants should arrive by 5:30 p.m. to register and get their numbered bibs.The 5th/6th Golden Tornadoes are hosting the fund raiser.Registration is $20 per person. Participants can register on the day of the event.There will be prizes awarded for best costume and the top five runners.After the race, enjoy free hot dogs and water. S’mores kits will be available to purchase at the S’mores station.
