Organizers of the fourth annual Mission Lamesa Food Drive still need monetary and food donations for distribution to local families this Sunday.The food drive ensures every family has a traditional Thanksgiving on the table Nov. 28.“Any donations, as far as turkeys, hams and Thanksgiving sides, would be welcomed,” said Jeremiah Aguayo, pastor of Kingdom Culture Ministries.There’s a need for green beans, canned corn, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, pie crust and pie fillings.Starting at noon, Sunday, volunteers will distribute the packaged food to local families standing in line to receive them at the Lamesa Middle School gym.“I think we ...
