Mesa Underground Water Conservation District (Mesa UWCD) board members approved a balanced budget, lowered the tax rate by 8.5-percent and switched presidents all in one meeting Wednesday morning.The board accepted the resignation of board president Al Crisp before appointing him as board secretary.They accepted former board secretary Garron Morgan’s resignation before appointing him as the new president.Both members have been on the Mesa UWCD board for over a year.Crisp’s Precinct 3 seat, along with fellow board member Brent Staggs’ Precinct 1 position will be on ballot in the May 2024 election.The board adopted the budget and set the tax rate ...
