Local government, school, bank and federal employees will look forward to a three day weekend for the Memorial Day holiday.Memorial Day is observed on the last Monday of every May.There will be mail delivery Saturday, but the post office will not make deliveries Monday. Postal workers will resume delivering the mail Tuesday.Medical Arts Clinic and the South Plains Public Health’s Lamesa Health Clinic are also closed Monday.City Hall, the county courthouse and federal offices also will be closed for the holiday.
