Each week day during the summer kids ages 18 and under get breakfast and lunch through the school district. Those grab-and-go meals are available from 10:30 a.m. until noon Monday through Friday at the high school cafeteria’s entrance. Children do not have to be enrolled in Lamesa schools to qualify for the district’s free meals. Students attending summer school still get their sit down meals each school day in the cafeteria.
