Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue this past week announced the appointment of 18 members and 18 alternate members to serve on The Cotton Board. Lamesa’s Matt Farmer was among those re-appointed to serve three-year terms ending Dec. 31, 2022. The Cotton Research & Promotion Act established the Cotton Board as a quasi-governmental, nonprofit entity to serve as the administrator of the Cotton Research & Promotion Program.
