Three of the five small school districts surrounding Lamesa received an A in the accountability ratings released Thursday by the Texas Education Agency (TEA).
Receiving that top mark from the state were Klondike with a numerical grade of 99, Borden County with a grade of 96, and Sands with a grade of 95.
O’Donnell received a letter rating of B, with a numerical score of 86. Dawson was rated C, with a numerical grade of 77.
Each of those school districts, which are in Division A based on student numbers, is rated as a single campus.
