Many local and area offices and businesses will be closing for Christmas on various days next week. The Lamesa Press-Reporter office will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, but will reopen the day after Christmas. As a result, the deadline for next Wednesday’s (Dec. 26) edition will be 12 noon this coming Friday for all regular advertisements and news articles. The Post Office in Lamesa will be closed only on Christmas Day. No mail will be delivered that Tuesday.
