A Lamesa man is facing multiple felony charges after being arrested in a residential neighborhood during the early morning hours this past Wednesday. Lonnie Ray Brown, 26, was arrested by a Lamesa Police Department officer as that officer investigated a suspicious person in the 400 block of Terrace Circle at 3:30 a.m., Chief of Police Dale E. Alwan Sr. said. The officer made contact with the suspect whom the officer was able to identify as Brown. “Evidence of criminal activity was found,” Chief Alwan said, “and Brown was subsequently placed under arrest for burglary of a building.” That charge is a state jail felony,
