A Lamesa man is facing two felony drug charges after an officer with the Lamesa Police Department made contact with him this past Thursday morning. The officer reported being out of the patrol unit with a “suspicious” pedestrian in the 1200 block of North Avenue L around 10:15 a.m., according to Calls for Service from the police department. The subject reportedly was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia, Chief of Police Dale E. Alwan Sr. said.
