ANDREWS – Certified taxable values will come out later in the month and local officials are perhaps bracing for another decrease in value.
The decrease is based on less mineral value and oil production from the slump in 2020 caused by the virus pandemic that choked demand.
However, after experiencing two years of decreased value, the county’s picture will likely drastically change the following year.
