A prison cell now awaits a Lamesa man who was arrested last summer for possessing thousands of dollars of property taken in a number of burglaries in Lamesa and the surrounding area.
Joseph Richard Lopez, 42, pleaded guilty in 106th District Court here this past Wednesday to one charge of burglary of a habitation and a separate charge of burglary of a building.
Those charges alleged he burglarized a building owned by Michael Eoff and also stole a wide array of furniture, appliances and other items from a residence owned by Robert Turner.
