Next Monday is Columbus Day, and the Dawson County Public Library will be closed both this Saturday and Monday.It is not the only establishment taking the holiday off.There won’t be any mail delivery Monday, as the post office will be closed. Mail delivery will resume Tuesday.The Dawson County Courthouse, Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce and federal offices will also be closed Monday.All but one bank here is closing on Columbus Day. Capital Farm Credit will remain open for the holiday.Medical Arts Clinic, located at 2202 N. Bryan, will be open during its regular hours from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
