SEMINOLE – “God bless those people spending money. That is fantastic,” said an enthusiastic Mayor John Belcher in response to the news Monday evening that sales tax in Seminole is up 26.67 percent from October 2020. The city council met Oct. 11 in the council chambers, where City Manager Tommy Phillips delivered the news.“Last year, it was $144,691, and the payment this month is $183,153.61.
