SNYDER – So far this past week, Scurry County health officials have reported four new local cases of COVID-19.
While no new cases were reported Friday, Thursday saw three new cases reported. One new case was reported Wednesday.
The four new cases put Scurry County’s total at 24 cases since the pandemic began, of which two are recovered.
As of Friday afternoon, 789 total tests had been administered. Of those, 513 had returned negative results, while 252 results were still pending. Age ranges and gender of infected individuals are no longer being released to the public.
