It may be a month away, but Lamesa Independent School District officials are already getting the word out about next year’s election.Three seats on the school board will be on the May 4, 2024 ballot: Districts 1, 2 and 3.Candidates can begin filing in the races starting Jan. 17, 2024. The filing period ends Feb. 16, 2024.Candidates can submit their applications in the school district’s Central Offi ce at 212 N. Houston.
