In the wake of last weekend’s storm that damaged school facilities, Lamesa school board members are conducting a special meeting at noon Tuesday.
One business item on the agenda is the board voting on a purchase of over $50,000 for modular buildings.
The middle school got the brunt of the storm damage with flooded hallways. The high winds, estimated at over 100 miles per hour, blew a press box off the visitor’s side at the Golden Tor Stadium and damaged fencing around the tennis courts at the high school.
The board could also vote on renewing employee contracts for the 2021-2022 academic year.
