In the wake of last weekend’s storm that damaged school facilities, Lamesa school board members are conducting a special meeting at noon Tuesday. One business item on the agenda is the board voting on a purchase of over $50,000 for modular buildings. The middle school got the brunt of the storm damage with flooded hallways. The high winds, estimated at over 100 miles per hour, blew a press box off the visitor’s side at the Golden Tor Stadium and damaged fencing around the tennis courts at the high school.
