With large, communitywide Easter egg hunts basically out of the question this year due to COVID-19 restrictions, a different type of Easter egg hunt is being organized here.
The Dawson County Public Library is encouraging local residents and businesses to put colorful drawings of Easter eggs in their windows so parents may take their children “hunting” for them.
Library director Angie Martinez said the eggs may be drawn or colored on paper, cardboard or anything similar – big enough so they may be seen from the street.
