The Trunk or Treat festivities may be canceled, but not even COVID-19 can prevent the library from putting on a pumpkin decorating contest Saturday.
The Dawson County Public Library’s event does have some changes, however. Instead of people coming in to vote on the decorated pumpkins, people can log onto the library’s Facebook page to vote. People can still come by the library to cast their ballots on their favorite pumpkins.
“We’re just going to add a virtual component to it,” said library director Angie Martinez.
