Lamesa High School’s three barbecue teams will be selling brisket burritos as a fundraiser next Saturday, Jan. 18. The event will run from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the southeast corner of the high school. Individual brisket burritos will sell for $5 each. A meal including a burrito, chips and drink will be $8. Proceeds will support The Smokin’ Tors, The Rolling Smokes, and The Pit Whisperers, barbecue teams that are part of the culinary program headed by Kevin Pedroza at the high school. ...
