Lamesa High School alumnus Private Austin Wayne Foust graduated from the Marine Corps Boot Camp in San Diego, Calif. on Dec. 7. Austin graduated from LHS in May of 2018. He will report back to Camp Pendelton, Calif. on Jan. 8 for School of Infantry. During his time at boot camp, Austin learned military customs and courtesy, and has trained to use a M-16 rifle. Austin participated in physical strength and endurance activities, which will culminated in a three-day “crucible” to test his mental and physical endurance.
