Lamesa’s economic development boards will have an array of business to consider when they hold their regular meeting on Monday evening. The joint meeting of the Lamesa Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) and Lamesa Economic Alliance Project (LEAP) boards is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. in the Presidents Room at the Lamesa Area Chamber of Commerce, 123 Main Ave. Among the business to be considered is a proposal to provide financial assistance to the City of Lamesa for hiring a part-time code enforcement officer and to assist with the expenses for removal of derelict commercial buildings.
