The Lamesa Community Players are preparing to present The Savannah Sipping Society, a hilarious comedy with a message, by Jones, Hope and Wooten. Performances are scheduled Aug. 27-29 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 30 at 2 p.m. Due to the COVID 19 protocol, on-line ticket sales will not be available, so the theater box office will be open at 214 N Austin Ave. Monday through Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. To ensure everyone’s safety, LCP’s facilities will be thoroughly sanitized before and after each performance.
