The Lamesa Community Players’ annual LaCopa awards banquet will be held at 6 p.m. this coming Friday, March 6, at K-Bob’s Steakhouse. The dutch-treat banquet is open to all members of the Lamesa Community Players and others interested in the theater. Awards for Best Actor/ Actress; Best Supporting Actor/Actress, and Best Rookie Actor/Actress will be presented for the 2019 season. The J.W. Dennis, Friend of LCP, and Lifetime Achievement awards also will be presented at the event. Also on the agenda for the evening will be the election of new LCP board members and officers. ...
