Operating hours at the municipal landfill are changing starting Monday.The new hours will be from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday; and from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday.The time change was the result of the switch from Daylight Savings Time when the nation fell back one hour on the clocks.“It’s the fall hours,” said Robert Ramirez, director of the city’s sanitation department. “Usually when the time changes, we change hours.
