A two-vehicle collision north of Midland on Monday afternoon resulted in the death of a Lamesa woman.Alyssa Chere Owens, 35, was pronounced dead at the scene by Martin County Justice of the Peace Nancy Bradshaw, according to information from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS).The accident reportedly happened at 3:36 p.m. about 12 miles north of Midland on State Highway 349.According to the DPS information, Owens was driving a 2022 Hyundai Palisade northbound in the left lane of the highway.
