Less than a week after a mass shooting rocked the Midland-Odessa area, a Lamesa man was arrested Thursday for allegedly threatening to “shoot up” a Midland business. Isaac Rodriguez, 28, was charged with making a terroristic threat, according to multiple media accounts of an announcement made Thursday by the Midland County Sheriff’s Department. He remained in the Midland County Jail on Friday afternoon, according to online jail records. The charge is listed as a third-degree felony.
