Plans for the 75th annual Lamesa rodeo are still in the works, but the date has been set for Aug. 1-3.Organizers are reaching out to the community for those interested in showcasing their business banners on the fence line during the rodeo.The rodeo, organized by Lamesa Rodeo Association, features nights of rodeo action and live music; and shows from Kenny’s Steel Rodeo, a troupe of daredevils on motorcycles.“It’s going to be awesomely done.
