TAHOKA – It has been 68 years since the end of the Korean War, but the U.S. Veterans who served in that conflict have not been forgotten by the South Koreans. On July 27, 2021, on Korean Armistice Day, Oscar Follis of Wilson was presented the Ambassador’s Peacekeeping Medal from the Korean American Association, during ceremonies conducted at the Veterans of Foreign Warts center in Lubbock.
