Klondike ISD trustees will hold a public hearing at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 29 for their 2019-2020 budget.
The hearing was scheduled as part of board action during their regular meeting this past Monday.
Superintendent Steve McLaren said Thursday that the district was not ready to release figures on the budget just yet but said it would be a balanced budget.
“We don’t have all the final numbers yet,” said McLaren. “It looks good, and due to legislative action it will be up, mostly due to increases in salaries.”
