Four teams from Klondike and a student from Lamesa placed among the top two finishers in various contests at the Texas FFA Area II Leadership Developments Events competition held this past Saturday at Howard College in Big Spring. First- and second-place finishers in each event generally qualify for the state contest, which will be held on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville.
