The Klondike ISD has plans to purchase new playground equipment with money received from the Weaver Foundation, the county Permanent School Fund and the school district.
A request to use $26,000 out of Klondike ISD’s designated portion of the county’s Permanent School Fund to help with the purchase of the new playground equipment was approved at this past Monday’s regular meeting of the Dawson County Commissioners Court.
Klondike ISD Superintendent Steve McLaren said the total cost of the playground equipment will be a little over $103,000.
