Klondike ISD’s board chose to extend Principal Danielle Therwhanger’s contract and handled other business for the district at their meeting this past Monday.
Therwhanger’s contract as school principal has been extended from a one-year contract to a two-year contract, Superintendent Steve McLaren said. The principal also will receive a “step raise,” McLaren said.
“She’s doing such a good job,” McLaren said.
The board approved the 2019-2020 school calendar at the meeting, as well. McLaren said he thinks “it’s a good calendar” and that “the teachers seem to like it.”
