Dawson County Hospital District board members Tuesday officially readied themselves for the May 3 election.They called for the election, set the times and dates for early voting and the location for the polls on election day.There are three positions on the ballot. Those spots are currently occupied by Board President David Sanderson, representing Pct. 1; Mike Johnson, representing Pct. 3; and board secretary Nicky Chapman’s at-large seat.The hospital district’s election is taking place alongside elections for openings on the school board and city council.Candidates seeking offices have until 5 p.m., Feb. 14 to file to places on the ballot.Johnson filed ...
